Macnica is showcasing Mpression for MAKERS solutions and products at Maker Faire Tokyo 2015 to be held at TOKYO BIG SIGHT from August 1 to 2, 2015. The stands focus on demonstrations using Mpression for MAKERS solutions for software engineers and firmware engineers who had never experienced hardware development. Macnica today announces development of a new IoT/M2M sensor shield "Mpression CiP-1" which has contactless strain sensor designed based on inductive sensor technology. CiP-1 expects to be used as environment sensor shield. The inductive sensor has been applied to contactless strain sensor which can check the load distortion of metal plane or the screw loose. When problem is detected, user can analyze why the issue is happened from environmental parameter information captured by Ambient Light, Temperature and Humidity Sensors on CiP-1.
Macnica today announced the official release of the iPhone app for its Odyssey MAX10 FPGA Eval Kit on the AppStore for free download.
Android version has been released on the GooglePlay for free download since the kit’s availability in February.
Odyssey MAX10 Kit is an IoT development kit with Altera’s MAX10 FPGA, Broadcom’s Wiced SMART BLE module, SiLab’s temperature/humidity and light sensors and ADI’s accelerometer.
