YOKOHAMA, Japan (November 21, 2014) - Altima Inc, a subsidiary of Macnica, a leading global technical distributor for semiconductor, today announced it is releasing a new H8S C200 IP core for MAX®10 FPGA from Altera. This H8S C200 for Altera FPGA is the equivalent of the H8S C200 architecture of Runesas electronics. Developers can integrate this IP and their own design IP into one Altera FPGA to produce unique products with H8S C200 compatibility. Altima plans to begin selling the IP core next spring.

Altima offers an IP core that duplicates the functionality of the existing CP220 ASIC. By obtaining the certification from CLPA, Altima offers companies the ability to quickly implement this high reliability IP in supported FPGA-based devices.
